I first became interested in becoming a hairdresser when I attended one of my Mom’s haircut appointments. It was at the Horst Salon in Deephaven, MN. I was so impressed with the staff, all were dressed in black and each attending to their clients in a beautiful setting. I chose the well-known cosmetology school, The Horst Institute in Minneapolis. After school I had intensive training with Rocco Altobelli, to become a hair color specialist. Now with Mérite as my salon home for the last 13 years of my 30-year career, I continue to grow as an artist in an ever-changing industry. From icy blondes to dark brunettes, Wella hair color for professionals allows me to customize amazing formulas and applications for each guest. Being creative every day is what drives me, achieving beautiful results is what I strive for.
